It’s no secret that I am a big fan of Gary Scheiner’s work, especially “Think Like a Pancreas“, one of my favorite and highly recommended diabetes books (new version coming out in two weeks).

I’ve also written a couple times (here and here) about Type 1 University, the insulin user’s online school for higher learning, which is the main reason for this blog post.

What is Type 1 University? It is a menu of online classes, offered both as a live “webinar”, where you can ask questions as you view the material and listen to the presentation, or as a pre-recorded session (where you don’t have the ability to ask questions).

The live classes usually last 45-60 minutes, and cost $29.95.  The pre-recorded sessions are $19.95.   Check out the sample class  to get a feel for it and decide if it’s something you want to try (1 minute promo below).

I’m excited to announce that I have teamed up with Gary to help promote Type 1 University, and in the spirit of full disclosure I wanted to share the news with everybody as soon as the ink dried.

I’m no expert in marketing, but I am passionate about spreading news about good things for those of us living with diabetes – and Type 1 University is one such thing.

Coincidentally, Gary was our guest on DSMA Live last night.  It was an awesome show, and Gary spent the hour dropping some serious knowledge.  I loved it!
