#ScottsDeathRide – Week 3 wrap up

I joined a group from JDRF San Diego for a great group training ride this morning to finish off my third week of training for #ScottsDeathRide (100 miles in Death Valley this October with @erikdouds for JDRF – learn more and support us at https://diabadass.com/death-valley).

I finished the week with 79.08 miles in the books (plus a handful of fun basketball sessions), and I’m feeling great!

Coach Pat took us on a beautiful route that I really enjoyed! I’ll definitely ride some of those roads again to take in the views. (Stick around for a bonus clip at the end to watch my wife try to kill me with the garage door… 🤣🤣🤣)

I’m headed to @cwdiabetes for #FFLOrlando19 next week and will knock out 76 miles of training in the hotel fitness center. Thank goodness it’s a rest week (76 miles is a “rest week?!).
