#ScottsDeathRide 💀🚴‍♂️ – weeks 10-12 spokes and spikes

After hitting “The Wall” a few weeks ago, I’ve been trying to conquer that long 50-mile weekend ride ever since. I’ve been plagued by problems with spokes and spikes. Three broken back spokes and a flat front tire from a spikey plant-pod called a goat head – all in the span of a couple of weeks. 

It’s been very frustrating! But don’t worry! Diabetes has trained me well to roll with the punches! As soon as I get my wheel back from the repair shop, I’ll be back on the road again.
