D-Blog Week – Pictures

From Karen:
Saturday 5/15 – Diabetes snapshots. Inspired by the Diabetes 365 project, let’s snap a few d-related pictures to share today. Post as many or as few as you’d like. Be creative! Feel free to blog your thoughts on or explanations of your pictures. Or leave out the written words and let the pictures speak for themselves.

And with that – I’m going to get on with the pictures. These are older pictures, that many of you may have seen already, but I sure got a kick out of looking at them again, and hope you will too.

  1. Scott, I finally feel like someones giving me a run for the money with most finger poke holes. 😛 It is hard to believe what tighter control means to our poor little fingers. I laugh when the nurses now say ” only test on the sides.” Do they realize how little space that is! I basically test every 2hrs (by choice) since being on the pump. If I make a correction or change I want to know what it’s doing to my body!
Thanks for the comic relief! I also really like the strip in the shoe! That is sooooo clasic, they can be found just about everywhere.

  2. Wow. I see pictures from my point of view as a PofCWD.
Seeing them through your eyes stirs emotion.
This week has been amazing. And more emotional than I ever imagined.
