  1. I was one of the lucky people who won a copy of the Diabetes Carb Control Cookbook. At first I thought it would be full of protein heavy recipes, but was pleasantly surprised to find a variety of recipes for Blueberry-lemon cupcakes, Roasted Onions, Cauliflower and Sweet Potatoes, Lentils Carrots and Ginger, plus salad ideas.
    And there are plenty of choices for chicken, pork, eggs and seafood.
    Cooking instructions are simple and easy. Great pictures will make your mouth water.
    The deal here is that each serving has exactly 15 grams of carbohydrate. Information is also given for calories, fat, sodium and protein values.
    With the holidays fast approaching, I think this would be a great gift for anybody, whether a PWD or not.
