#ScottsDeathRide πŸ’€πŸš΄β€β™‚οΈ – weeks 10-12 spokes and spikes

After hitting “The Wall” a few weeks ago, I’ve been trying to conquer that long 50-mile weekend ride ever since. I’ve been plagued by problems with spokes and spikes. Three broken back spokes and a flat front tire from a spikey plant-pod called a goat head – all in the span of a couple of weeks.

It’s been very frustrating! But don’t worry! Diabetes has trained me well to roll with the punches! As soon as I get my wheel back from the repair shop, I’ll be back on the road again.

And take a look at this video for how lucky I was when it comes to where I broke down…
