D-Blog Day!

I really can’t express how much the OC has changed my life. You have all made a real difference for me in how I manage my diabetes and how I cope with the mental challenges that it presents. I consider you all as a very important resource for my well-being. Thank you!

A special “shout out” to Kathleen Weaver who was perhaps the first diabetes blogger. Kathleen – you opened up a whole world of good for us, and I am so glad that you did. Thank you!

  1. Scott, thank you for being there. Thank you for helping me get my blog up and running, for encouraging me to try other insertion sites than my stomach, for sharing because it certainly does help to know that one is not in this alone. There are others out there with the exact same problems.

  2. happy d-blog day. your blog was the first i read. i hope all is well and thanks for reading my blog, too. i always feel happy when i get a scott comment.

take care! thinking of you and your family!

  3. Allison –

You really should look at flights – you can meet like 4 or 5 d-bloggers all at once. Why they don’t have monthly meetings is beyond me 😉

Anyway, happy d-blog day Panera friend.

  4. Scott,

Your blog has been an inspiration to me, perhaps more than I’ve ever let you know.

And you know, with you, the connection from used test strips is definitely personal 😉

    Happy D-Blog day!

  5. Scott-

Thanks for being such a rock for so many of us in this community– and for sharing so much of yourself here.

    Happy D-Blog Day!

  6. Scott, yours was the first D-blog I ever read. Thanks to you for that! You’re awesome, and the honesty with which you tell your stories, even the difficult ones, is amazing.

  7. Scott,

You have made a difference in my life as well as the entire OC. You were the first person to comment on my blog and then after we found out that we were seperated at birth I knew the OC was the place for me.

    You are awesome dude.

    Rock on.
