TCOYD – Taking Control of Your Diabetes, in Des Moines, Iowa

September 24, 2010 By Scott K. Johnson 6 Comments

After a short conference call this morning and a quick session of lunchtime basketball, I’m driving down to Des Moines, IA to attend the Taking Control of Your Diabetes (TCOYD) conference tomorrow.

The TCOYD conferences do the best job of providing a lot of valuable information to people living with both type 1 and type 2 diabetes.Β  Many conferences try to serve the needs of both communities, and often seem to under serve one or the other.

I’m a big fan of Dr. Edelman and his team, and look forward to many laughs and much useful information.

I’m going to help work the Diabetes Hands Foundation booth with Scott Strange, and am very much looking forward to hanging out with him for the afternoon.Β  I’m also hoping for a lot of social time with other folks in the Diabetes Online Community over the weekend too.

If you are at (or near) the Des Moines, Iowa TCOYD event, please let me know – I’d love to meet you and visit for a while!
